"Brand New Flava In Your Ear"

I am back after quite a break (not really a break, school is killing me!). Anyways, here are a few new songs to hold you over till next post.

1) Raheem Devaughn feat. Ludaris- Bulletproof

Dang, Raheem! I liked you when you came with your romantic, and sometimes corny (just listen to "Customer"), love songs, but now you have me asking the question, "Why so serious?" Just joking, I know why, but I just was not expecting this type of song from Mr. Devaugn. It is very reminiscent of Marvin Gaye's album "What's Going On" and other political and social conscious soul artists, like Curtis Mayfield.

2) Ne-yo - Never Knew I Needed

Why does Ne-yo always find a way to make my heart melt? This is the perfect song for the upcoming Disney movie, The Frog Princess. Enough said.

3) The Noisettes - Every Now and Then/Wild Young Hearts

The Noisettes are at the top of my list of favorite current bands, alongside Kings of Leon and The Zutons. I love their entire album, Wild Young Hearts, and these songs are two of my favorites! If your looking for a band that is different from the norm, check them out, while I drool over Shingai and how awesome she is!
